Welcome to the Olami DC Internship Program!
The Olami DC Internship program is a seven-week summer session combining an outstanding position in your field of interest with robust Jewish learning and living experiences.
Students live together in housing based in Silver Spring, MD, an active Jewish community outside of Washington, DC. Internships are located either in DC proper, in the surrounding suburbs or, in some instances, a bit further north in the Baltimore metro area.
In addition to the routine work schedule, interns participate in several weekly Jewish learning sessions, and 4 full Shabbat programs, both in Silver Spring and in other locations. A one-week Jewish immersion retreat takes place either immediately before or after the six-week internship period.
